Being a member here and reading some of the helpful threads have helped me again. I had replaced one of my headlight gears the other day and planned on doing the other (drivers side) today. I had also read about how the headlight adjustment rods (golden rods) become seized and can break. While taking out the drivers side headlight motor (20-30 minutes without removing the whole assembly) I checked my adjustment rods and yes all were frozen/seized. Some time and lubrication and all is well and I didn't break any of the. Removing the front hood bumpers/stops makes any headlight work much easier.

My passenger window would not roll-down. I came inside, searched the forum and viola!! Someone had stated that if your vette hasnt been driven in awhile, sometimes the windows stick.. Solution: Hold down the switch, while tapping on the door!!! No problems ever since (6 months & counting)..
