Default Kooks Header Install

I am planning on installing my 1 7/8 Kooks headers and off road x pipe on October 17th. I have been reading about installing them and from what I am reading, it says they redesigned a 2" set and made them easier to install. I was wondering if since I recently bought these 1 7/8 headers if they were still the old design or if the 1 7/8 headers were also redesigned to make them easier like the 2" ones.

If anyone has any information or any write ups to share it would be great! I have the kooks instructions printed out but I was wondering if there's any other pointers or instructions or updated versions if my headers were updated.

Thanks, Jim

All models for c5 were redesigned in 2012 or 2013 or wahtever it was. I have the 1 7/8 and they slid right in--- at that time the directions were a little outdated/intended for the old version. I did not have to remove a bunch of the crap it talked about. I used the included instructions and the guide on Ls1howto.com to get a good idea on how to attack the install. Removing stock stuff was the worst part- wasn't too bad. You'll need at least something like 18" of ground clearance to get the headers in from the bottom.
