Im sure most have seen this, but thought I would share. Happened Saturday morning at the Dallas Cars and coffee. Looks like his sun glasses went further than his car lol.

Man that is a shame! He is more embarrassed than anything I'd guess.

I kept watching this over and over. However, I didn't notice the sunglasses until your comment.

Did anyone else notice all the cars that stopped to help? Very sad commentary on our car culture as well as today's society. Even the woman taking the video couldn't put it down long enough to see if the guy was ok. Wow

A4 or MN6 ?

active handling would have been his friend

had he just held the button for 5 seconds instead of a 1 second push ...

I always thought the button should be set up the opposite ...

was his glassing flying off from whiplash ?

Sad story. Active handling would totally have saved his a$$ there.

well I'll rephrase, that's one reason I wouldn't take my car out there lol... I feel bad for that guy and others that have crashed out there in similar fashion but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't entertaining at the same time

Started losing the rear and kept his foot in it, tried to power out instead of just letting up on the gas and allowing the Vette to correct itself. There are several videos of C5s and C6s making the same mistake.

Sure was a fast way to ruin his day.

Yeah, he looks pretty humiliated I'd say judging by the later part of the video.

Nothing like doing something like that in front of a whole bunch of fellow gearheads...ugh.

Yet another reason I like to have a fast car and drive it slow (well, most of the time).
