Default Got the green light

I got the go ahead to purchase some items today. I just bought 42#injectors the other day.

I might have jumped the gun on the injectors.

I need some direction on where to purchase the following items:

1) FAST intake 92mm (Not sure of the most recent design)
2) LS2 90mm Throttle Body( Silver Blade From What I Have Read)
3) FUEL RAILS ? FAST or ? Spacers Or what?
4) MAF (Don't know if I need this item)
5) Rotors. (Not sure on the brand/keeping the stock calipers)
6) Break pads(They are still in great shape, just need to replace before I go work out in Napa Valley)

The only work being done in a shop will be the tune.
I have 2 weeks to try and accomplished these installations. If not they will be installed during Thanksgiving/Christmas.

I saw a lot of the prices which vary. That is not the problem. The problem is getting the correct items and not having to try and return them out of error. I tried every section from this site looking for these items with no luck.

Also, shout out to stealthc5 for the fast shipping and great fabrication on the Breathless Lights add-on. Rear covers/plates look great. Ill try and install them this coming week as well. Pictures of the install soon.

What are you doing to the motor that requires these parts? Or are you adding these to a stock engine thinking performance will increase? Just curious.

Hope not lol. You at least have headers/full exhaust and a cam? If you plan to boost it at all in the future or now, I wouldnt run a fast. Stock intake works great and wont crack as easily under boost. If you are just building a nice n/a motor then a fast would be fine.

Default forged bottom end and ls6 top end

I did an engine swap a while back. Added a ls2 block with forged internals. A mild cam. CAI.

I ended up using the top end from my ls6. Had minor work done to the heads.

Added a mcleod twin disk clutch. Had the differential done with hardened parts. Installed my Kooks headers with no cats.

Honestly I want to buy all these items so I can see myself about the so called better response. Might even breath better. Horsepower not a goal at this time. Plus they look great.

I posted some information on my profile a while back. So that fellow vette owners will get an idea of my build.

My goals are to keep it all n/a. Too much money wasted on this build to turn my back on it and buy a blower.

I'd go fi on my next vette.

Maryland speed always has a rotor and brake pad combo deal starting around $525 for dba rotors and hawk pads. Also have good deals on the FAST 92 and Nick Williams TB.

Check out the Carbotech 1521 brake pad. Low dust 100% non corrosive will not harm your wheels and still performs like OEM.

Front $148 Rear $128 Less 5%.

Carbotech™ Bobcat 1521™ The Carbotech Bobcat 1521™ is our high performance street compound that is our most successful compound. The Bobcat compound is known for its awesome release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. Like our AX™ & XP™ line of compounds, Bobcat 1521™ is a Ceramic based friction material offering minimal rotor damage and non-corrosive dust. Bobcat 1521™ offers outstanding performance, even when cold, low dusting and low noise with an excellent initial bite. This compound’s virtually perfect linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Bobcat 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 900°F. Bobcat 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle, police cruiser. The Bobcat 1521™ compound has been found to last two-three times longer than OE pads you can purchase at a dealership or national retailer. That’s one of the beauties of Carbotech Ceramic brake compounds. Bobcat 1521™ is NOT recommended for any track use.
