No storage with mine but I am not in the high level snow country. Every week during the winter (its coming, ugh!), I drive the vert for at least 25 miles. Sometimes with the top down in 30 degree weather. Maybe more miles depending on the weather and salt on the roads. This keeps my battery and fluids happy.
Do you disconnect it? A dead battery can freeze and possibly crack the case.
Yes, I disconnect it. Primarily because it's parked at a vacation home where nobody is at most of the time. The building is insulated fairly well though. Every time I reconnect it there is no evident voltage loss (it doesn't crank slow, etc.).

Mine has definitely sat for a month or so without being started in the summer time (like during my clutch job last year) no troubles there. I would be concerned if mine died that quickly. The STS on the other hand has the keyless access system (like the C6) and it's well known that those only last about a month or so without being driven before they go dead.
