Emblem Inserts

I just noticed that the Checkered Flag on my Trunk Emblem is now missing. I assume it just became unattached. Come to find out this may be a fairly common occurrence.

Anybody know of where I can get a factory replacement insert? I was going to just replace the insert. GM seems to be real proud of the complete replacement emblem. Thank you.

Vendors on here sell overlays.

I did see the overlays, but have only seen the different style. No factory looking flags.

Yes that is what I have found as well. Did you check the auction site for better price on new emblem?

I did. If I can't find a better deal on here, I'm probably buying used and just grab the insert out of the used emblem. Found a decent deal on a used one.

Unless someone just happens to have some of the inserts laying around, your best bet is to buy a used emblem like you said. You may post a WTB thread in the C5 Parts for Sale section and see if someone has an old used emblem that they no longer need that has the insert in it that you need first.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. I have no problem gluing it back in. Let me know if you have them and how much. I just need one stock checkered flag. Thank you.

I had this same problem. I don't remember if the checkered or the red portion came out, but I still have the old emblem. I ended up buying a new one. I'll check and report back to let you know if I have the part you need.

Glad to help you man. I dropped it off at the post office this morning, about a half hr ago,you should see it in a few days. Now a part of "Daisy" will ride with you.
