NemesisC5 can you elaborate on your making it a front cooler statement? I want to do a tigershark front bumper over the winter w no splitter and was searching threads. I have a A&A centri setup on it currently and wonder what I need to do other than install the ts bumper to maximize cooling.

Thread link below how I did mine with an A & A baby S-Trim setup back in 2007.

To do this normally aspirated the easiest / cleanest way is to modify factory radiator shroud. Easiest is cut out area behind grill like Andy did to his aluminum shroud in my thread above, remove factory air dams and close the bottom with ABS or HDPE plastic.

IMO, best way is to cut oem shroud on both sides about 2-3 inches down from top section and fasten top section to underside of metal bumper support. You can use spacers to create air gap to bring cool air in for open element filters. Use cardboard to make a template for new radiator shroud sides walls where top was was pulled up and away from sides to reinforce shroud sides and fill gaps. Use template to cut 2 pieces of ABS / HDPE plastic (or your material of choice) and rivet them to top shroud where the 2-3 inches of side wall are still attached and to the side pieces of shroud still in contact with radiator.

I'll take some pictures of mine to illustrate if my explanation was unclear. This can been done to C5's with oem front bumper as well if you have plastic foglight housings either removed or screened to allow airflow to radiator.

Here's how IPS Motorsports did my A&A install

I didn't like the loss of ground clearance so I did the rad cradle mod to bring the ground clearance back to stock

I put the Tigershark nose on and rounded out the bumper foam for a better easier fit

Cradle mounts for the rad were relocated to put it back in the stock position

Added the 249.00 ACP aluminum radiator 3 years ago no issues

Thanks for the replies it helped a lot! I'll be doing this over the winter so just trying to soak up as much info as I can.
NemesisC5 I understand what your saying now. I had to go out to the car and visualize it and with Stangeloves pics it helped to.
