Default newbie here

just purchased my 4th and last corvette a 2002 c5. am located here in the pacific northwest.....just retired after 30 years with Boeing engineering. raised a family here, finished school here, and so decided i needed more to do and found a deal i could not pass up, and just bought it last week at doug's in Lynnwood. i used to be here on the forum but left after the last corvette (a c4) was traded in. anyway it is good to be back here on the forum.

Welcome Back! I came back to the forum after a dry spell too. I moved from my C4 to a C5 Convertible just a couple months ago. Lots of new stuff to learn about your new-to-you Corvette. Some things are the same or similar, but lots of great new stuff.

this the c5 i purchased first part of last november. sorry i have taken so long to get back here, just got busy....retirement is worse than being at work. but i have also been busy getting acquainted with the car, and there is so much that is different from the c4's. i have driven it only about 4 or 5 times, when it stops raining. i remember right after i bought the car, i could not believe it myself, and it takes me quite a while for my heart rate to come down after i drive it. i live in the 7 lakes area just south of lake goodwin, west of marysville. keep in touch, and let me know any meetings are being organized.

Congrats on the retirement and C5. I bought mine as a retirement gift to myself too.
I love retirement. Living life at my own pace is great, and I do as much or little as I want every day.

Welcome back and congrats on your retirement. Nice looking c5, I know you will enjoy it.

I have been retired since 2000 and still loving it. Gives me more time to drive my Corvettes.
