Having the proverbial blinker problems with my 2000 C5. Done the hazard switch replacement a couple of times. I am running halos and LEDs all the way around with the hyper-flash device (forgot the official name). Been to the dealership many times trying to find the fix for the sometimes they work sometimes they don't syndrome. One thing that I do notice is that first thing in the morning as in the first drive of the morning they work but as the first drive goes on they stop.
I'm trying to do some basic trouble shooting on my own. I discovered one connection to the tail lights - wire broken. I also discovered that on the far right tail light there appears to a ground wire that is not connected.
Can anyone give me any guidance on where this wire connects.

I believe it connects to the outside of the frame rail. Should be able to see evidence of where it attached.
Not sure if this will help or not as it doesn't give the exact location but there should be a grounding point somewhere back there on the frame like stated above.
