Default Sun visors

Ecklers is selling new C5 sun visors w/ lighted mirror for about $180 to your door for a pair. Thats 20% off till 11-16-15. I just ordered them and will report on how they are. Your must order must be at least $199.99 before shipping to get the 20%. So buy a key chain or something. Rod

I think they look real good. A heck of a lot better than my floppy old ones. They are in the box until spring. I hope they are as easy to install as they say they are. I am not going to hook up the lights on the mirrors. Never used them and one less thing to possibly drain the battery.

That's a good idea. I'm about to replace the passenger side visor & I believe I'll leave the light disconnected too. No one even sits on that side anyway.

I ordered and installed them. The quality is great. Install was easy, youtube has a short video. As far as the vanity light goes I recommend plugging them in. If not it can get lost in the headlining. I'd remove the lens and remove the bulb instead of unplugging it.

Surfer, Mine would require a complete rebuild as the fiberboard is separating. Plug and play that looks original is the way I wanted to go. In Kalifornia the Corvette tax would have at least tripled your cost. Rod

Anyway to just fix the flappy ears?

Mine seem fine except the left one's board is split doing the floppy ear, right seems o.k..

Rebuilding the sun visors only takes a couple of hours to complete.

If yours are black, it might be easier to just buy new ones. Mine are shale, which has been discontinued. So, buying replacements wasn't really an option.

I documented the rebuilding process on a thread.
