One of the first things I had to do was give the car a new voice. The car has 114k miles on it and it was time to change it up. I've only had the car about a month now so it was also nice to get under it and do a very thorough inspection. Overall, it was very clean but I did notice a decent amount of grease around the rear diff area. Everywhere else was dry and clean.
The install was very straight forward with the exception of the false pretense that having a lift would allow you to remove the old exhaust without cutting it. It would have been true, had it been a 2-Post lift and not a 4-Post lift that I was using. The tracks are in the way by about 6 inches on both sides. But I ended up cutting these which added about 20 minutes to the job (couldn't find the cutting wheel and the recipro saw blade was too short)... It actually took longer to get the tips lined up than to get the rest of it in and out. I'm very happy with the results and I'm expecting to be even happier once I get the X-Pipe. Here are the before and after pics.
