I am looking for the headlight caps... The ones from Corvette Central are too small. They say its for a 2-1/8 hole but thats the OD of the part.
I have an October 98 built 99. I'm keeping this stock and believe it or not NCRS is judging these now. So its fun fun for me
Just run down to your local GM dealership and get them for about $7- (if my memory is correct!) Now get going!!! PS they got loads of parts for Corvettes

I agree - either Marc at VetteNuts should have some or your dealer can order them for you. Good luck - when I had my '99, those plugs were constantly coming off until I had the dealer replace the bezel and plugs with the updated version that locks in place. If you get some of the old style plugs, you might still want to get the newer bezel and plugs and keep the old stuff for installation if you decide to get your car judged by NCRS.

They were the original supplier of the 2 1/8 plugs. If you look down the list I think the correct plug is the BPF 2 1/8
If you have one of the originals you can read them the code on the back of the cap. They shipped me a few about 12 years ago after I lost a couple of mine. I gave most of them away to some of the forum guys over the years, anyway just ask them if they will send you a couple of samples its worth a try.
I glued mine in from the backside of the bezel and haven't lost one in probably 10 years now.
I bought some used oem cap plugs off Ebay, I think after a few drives they came off never to be seen again. I was told a use a drop of super glue next time with the caps but instead used some black tape to seal the hole.
