Default Question about 80 mm bbk throttlebody

Hey guys.

Im about to get my car tuned.

I have a 97 vette.
Mods

Xs power long tubes, with high flow cats
Flowmaster force II axelback
Ls6 intake
Magnum stage II cold air intake
Granetelli 83mm mass air meter

Now for my question. As stated im about to get my car tuned since all the mods are new to my car.

I can get a bbk 80mm throttlebody for a very good price. Am i going to see any difference over the stock throttlebody with the mods I have?

Stock TB is 78mm .. .. not enough of a difference to warrant the
change.

Port and polish what you have. You will see a slight improvement.

Im sure you are right but why would BBK make and sell 80mm throttlebody if it's no different than stock?
