Default XSPower C5 2.5" and 3" Catback

So I'm really interested in the XSPower C5 2.5" OR 3" Catback for my Automatic 02 Vette. But I'd just like to hear both pros and cons from those who have previously or currently have it on their car. They are out of stock of the 2.5" for now, so just the time to ask for some input regarding the system. So what do you guys got regarding hp, torque, weight, sound, etc? Let me hear it.

P.S. They won't have the 2.5" for 4- to 6- weeks and they don't know about when they are getting the 3". Is there any giant difference between the 2 anyway?

I had the opportunity to hear this on a car I was thinking about buying. I will tell you it sounds absolutely fantastic! I decided then and there that is the exhaust I'm putting on whatever car I ended up with. It makes a great sound at idle and at higher revs.

Honestly, doubt you will see any real HP or torque gains from just a catback system. The sound should be much better than the stock system.

I have the XSPower 2.5 catback on my 98 A4 and love it! I think I paid 550 for mine shipped because I had a coupon code when they were doing a special last year. You won't have any noticeable hp gains, I don't exactly remember the weight but I think a few pounds lighter than stock. The exhaust sounds great though! Good idle sound and it's pretty tame while normal driving, not too loud at all but once you open it up at WOT the exhaust really screams. Not much drone, if any at all. I have a partition as well so that cuts a little noise out. Usually a sound clip doesn't do justice but here is one from youtube. Not my car but the car in the vid is stock besides the xspower exhaust.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this an axleback setup in the picture ?

I have the 3 inch for a couple years now. I like it a lot but it's not quiet if that's what you want. I get a lot of good comments on the sound.

Have the 2.5 and absolutely love it

Zero drone; screams with the long tubes and off-road X

I also ran this as JUST an axle back with stock manifolds/cats/mid

Gives it a nice clean sound that isn't overly aggressive

I'm pretty sure they are a knock off of a Corsa Indy; but are louder.
I will say to buy good clamps and throw the others in the trash. They are worthless.

I can't speak for the exhaust but the headers from xs power delivered excellent sound.

I heard a video of the XS headers and xs 2.5 exhaust and it sounded amazing.

Have had the 2.5" for a couple of years now. Sounded awesome out of the box. WOT was insane. Didn't like the popping during deceleration so I added an X-pipe. Not as loud now but still sounds good. Excellent sound during hard acceleration.

I installed recently, very happy, sound is awesome- I wouldn't call it mild, the looks are great- would buy again, order-shipping fast- all good

I debated researched this for like 6 months- just buy it
