No problem. You thinking of putting these on a C5?

Ya I'm considering them. I was about to order one of the new hybrid series from them. But I might like this design better than what's currently offered. Im wanting to know what sizes they will be offering. As I really want 18/19. However the current hybrids are offered only 19 and 20".

Gotcha, given how CCW does business I'm sure they would be willing to make this three piece in the barrel diameter you desire. For what it's worth I recently upgraded my wheels as well and would also suggest an 18/19 combo, I think this looks much more modern without becoming ridiculous on the C5 chassis. Anything larger starts to look funky on this car.

Look into brake upgrades next, the factory equipment looks tiny once you go +1 on the wheel diameter.

Couldn't agree more. There trying to get me to go with 19/19. But I'm not to sold. It's not the exact look I'm after. So I'm really hoping these will come out in 18's. They are 18's on that cobra. I'm thinking they might just work out.

As far as the brakes. I really do want to upgrade them asap. I'm thinking about this kit.

I just picked up a brand new supercharger kit for a forum member also. Braking deffinatly is next.

If I may, take a serious look at the C6 Z06 rotor based TCE Wilwood kit. I did a lot of research before choosing a 4 wheel brake upgrade and that's what I ended up going with. Couldn't be happier with my choice. There's quite a bit more lateral clearance with this setup vs. the C6 Z06 calipers as well.

Those look pretty nice. And im sure they will work better. That's a great write up. Seems like a no brainer to do this rather than the c6z stuff. I think I'll head in this direction. Is there any snazzier rotors you world recommend. I kind like the look of the slots or holes.

What's also cool. Is I'm going to use my c5 brakes on my c3!

18/19 looks better in the C5 and keeps the ratio easier to keep the TC/AH working correctly. Also going to 18" fronts opens up a lot more tire choices...

Check out KNS Brakes for factory C6 Z06 replacement rotors.

I went with their 4K blanks because they were a fantastic buy, but anything which fits the C6 Z06 will bolt right up. My previous rotors were Stoptech slotted which I chose for their looks, they are a fine option IMO. DBA also offers their own simple version of a slotted rotor (T2 spec), I'd avoid drilled as I've never seen hard use on drilled rotors which don't result in cracks radiating from the holes.

I agree. I'm deffinatly shooting for 18/19. I think that's the best possible combo.

Soo we can get those ccws. But there only offered in 18" and they aren't really designed for out setup. They will no have much lip at all if built for a vette. So I'm back to my search.

C5 runs large positive offset so you won't have much of a lip on any wheel that fits, unless it curves like crazy back into the barrel (at which point you'll end up with brake clearance issues).

Ya i spoke w John at ccw today. And we can run up to 3" lip in the rear on mono block. And 2.5" in all the hybrids. I may just go for 19/19 hybrids. He's very convinced he can achieve what I want w the right tires. I'm gonna take a drive out there in a few weeks and see what we can do. On a different note. I found some nice new forgeline ff3's which I like. But are even more expensive than the ccw hybrids. To the tune of about 1400 a wheel. I don't think I can wrap my head around spending that much. I dont even wanna spend as much as the hybrids are costing. Not many wheels look good on our cars to me. I'm prolly being too pickey...

I have SP16A's 19" front and rear, 1" lip front, 2" lip rear. They will accept larger brakes and for me that is the next step. I run Michelin Pilot sports 265/30 fronts and 305/30 rears. I really like them. Good luck with your decision. CCW is a great company to deal with, John was a big help.

Robby04, I really like the look of the hybrids as well the only consideration I would give you is cleaning them with the bolt heads exposed. These wheels require a lot of maintenance, somebody said a labour of love. I agree lots of labour but not so much love.

I think you will really like the look of those wheels on your car. Again best of luck.
