OK I know one of the Inherited Problems of the C5 Is the Driver Seat..Or Seats...Mine is in Pretty Good Shape for a almost 14 year old car...No tears or splits in leather..foam padding has seen better days and I do have some slack in the frame from the wore out bushings..not bad but it's there..I have seen the bushing fix from C & S and the repair parts...but what about upgrades on Seats...what have most of you done..seems from what I can find most just change out the seats all together...and go with a Manual seat track instead of the all crazy electric one standard in one...I for one really don't need a 1 & 2 memory and lumbar, electric up and down seat...LOL...So what are the best options out there...or does one just repair the frame add new foam and install bushings...???? input...input
I would also like to hop in on this and comment on my "falling seat back" issue. My seats are in great shape, but the damn drives seat falls backwards on the right side anytime pressure is put on it. I do the GM reset method, and it just falls right back again.
My thoughts are, they look amazing and I think I just found my future seat purchase. ~1k which is VERY reasonable for a set of seats with everything IMO. After I get back from deployment next winter, I will most likely do this!

I changed the foam and seat covers on my stock seats to a much more durable and quality leather - got the items from Vette Essentials. Others have chosen to go with a variety of aftermarket seats - and have to say some of them are pretty nice.
I've got a "rocking" seat issue. It had been rocking for a bit, but the worst happened right after I got the car tuned after adding some bolt on mods. On the way home from the tuner, I get on the highway and decide to punch it for the first time post-tune... next thing I know I'm basically looking at the roof of the car instead of the road. Thought I was going to die that day. Got by through the remainder of the driving season with a pair of 2x6's wedged behind the seat until I figured out what I wanted to do.
Anyways, I personally want to get a pair of C6 seats and swap them out. From what I understand they're a direct fit, but the wires need to be adapted to retain the power adjustment features (which I want to keep). Just need to find a pair of gently used C6 seats...
Those Corbeau seats look really nice though!! If I didn't want to keep the power features I'd spring for those myself!
I'm very close to being fed up with my seat back. I don't mind the seats, but damn my EVO Recaro seats are so nice I think think that the Corbeau might be the answer!
Please be aware, the bolts on the Corbeau seats don't line up exactly with the supplied slider brackets. You will have to "rat" the holes out during the install. A really good larger round file is the minimum needed. A dremel tool or a good burr bit, even better. Other than the misaligned holes, the install was easy.
If I could figure out some way to lock the recline mechanism, into a "Fixed" and solid position and convert the sports seat to non-reclining, I might keep them. On mine the reclining mechanism was just not up to handling my rather large mass and 412 rwhp.
I just covered my springs with burlap, installed new foam, installed VE bolster protectors and had VE create a new set of seat covers about 8 years ago. This is my DD and the seats still look like new...
Have never had a mechanical seat issue (yet) in 15 years of Daily Driving, but I am sure a lot of that is due with the way I enter/exit the vehicle and the fact that the seat is always all the way back.

I like these better than the Corbeau deal. These look more like they belong in the car.
