Default Found The One Thing Wrong with My Vert

I have been checking everything...and came across the one thing wrong with my c5...I can push the door lock...both doors lock...push the unlock only the driver side...I checked the options...it is set for both doors...passenger door locks both the doors... panel and fob... but does not unlock...with either...

Do you push the unlock button twice to unlock other door?

Obtain and install a window valet and on the third push of the unlock button you will lower your windows also. And when you are exiting the car with windows down you push the lock button three times and the windows will raise.

Not really. I have a convertible without and I don't want it. I can handle everything just fine without the added electronics to mess things up.

I just bought a 2013 Toyota Venza AWD as a winter car and using the settings page on one of the dash screens I was able to set it for the fob to open all doors with 1 push.

On a hot summer day I walked out of the grocery store with bags in both arms. As I approached the car I dropped the windows and popped the trunk open activating the window valet with the key fob. The lady puting groceries into her suv parked next to my corvette looked at me and said; you can do that with your arms full? I sure wish I could do that with my car.

I sure wish I could do that with my car as she waved her foot under the rear bumper of the SUV and it automatically opened.... heh..

Yes the default was 1 for driver door and 2 for the rest,
It was easy to change,
The auto seat going back all the way when you turn off the car function
I had to have the dealer turn off.
In my Lincoln LS I could turn that feature off through the settings.

but I can turn off easy exit/ entry from the DIC control buttons.. I think it is assigned to the memory package. I think???? Being somewhat OCD , I just wanted to minimize wear and tear on the power seat apparatus. What can I say?. No defense for some of my craziness. Mr. Sam thinks I should go back onto my meds!

You can easily turn off all the features that prematurely wear things out. See your owners manual. I turned them all off the day I got mine.

I'm talking about the Venza.
I read the owners manual and it specifically says turning off auto seat is a dealer item.
I turned the auto seat off in my Vette.

Sorry. I misunderstood. If you have the headlight sentinel, I would recommend turning that off, too. Save your gears.

Here she is my 2013 AWD V6 Venza winter car with lowered springs and skirt kit.

Nifty vehicle for an SUV.

We were a lot tougher in the 50's when our parents wouldn't even consider buyng a car with air conditioning. Manual steering and brakes, manual windows, three on the tree, etc.

We have evolved and creature comforts are part of our everyday lives.

The pioneers were a tough bunch. And they usually died in their thirties.
