Working on my newly acquired 01 , i noticed one of the headlight lenses is cracked and the other is slightly hazy. ...
My question is this , i see clips holding them knto the buckets ...can they ve replaced or do you have to replace the entire assembly??

I've not seen anyone post that the lenses can be separated - I think you have to replace the light assembly as a unit.

Sorry for you problems. Did some searching and Vetteman appears to be correct. Have to buy the whole thing 
At least we don't have near the problems with headlights that the C6 guys have. Those exposed headlights are always getting cracked.

yes any modern headlight that is plastic in the sense of the word can be taken apart, after all they go together, so with that said as far as i know they do not make replacement lens for the out side of the vette light the only one i have ever see is for the c6 vettes, here is where they aftermarket comes in from various different sites you can buy aftermarket complete replacement headlight housing that will replace your stock dull OEM housings
