Pulled the Pin & Purchased this Today :-)
I purchased this 1999 Coupe today from a Dealership in FL. 22,400 miles on this vehicle.
I had asked CF about service I should ask for by the dealer. They:
Changed the Oil/Filter
Greased
Changed Transmission Fluid
Changed Wipers
Rotated Tires
4 Wheel Alignment
Delivering it via Flatbed Free

Nice looking '99 though. Looks clean.

Melting Slicks
Since we're talking a little about the wagon wheels, check this link out and watch it all the way through. Those little decals can make a huge difference in the look...

I agree. It can be done side-to-side, but that involves dismounting/re-mounting tires (not to mention re-balancing) and I'd BET it was not done.

Great catch. I bet it wasn't done also. I will definitely speak to them today :-o I did not pay for the service, but it's not nice to tell someone you did something when it was not done. They are a Cadillac dealership and should know better.
Thank You :-)

While you're at it, ask about the "grease" fittings on a C5, THAT DON'T EXIST. Unless the PO or the dealer (NOT!) has changed the tie rod ends/ball joints to units with grease zerks, they're not being honest about that EITHER. OE C5 suspension/steering has NO grease zerks. That's why I also struck out that item on the list.
It's this kind of lack of integrity and/or honesty that causes the vast majority of the public to distrust or HATE dealerships. They EARN that skepticism or hate every day.
Hopefully, for your sake, that's the WORST thing they misrepresented.
P.S. If your car is an automatic, I would be VERY skeptical they "changed the transmission fluid" as well, mainly because doing so on a C5 is MUCH more labor intensive (code for $$$$) than most cars.

Thanks, that's why this is a great forum. We novice members can learn the in's and out's of owning a corvette. I would have expected a little more honesty from a reputable dealership and I'm not afraid to bring it to their attention or notify GM & the AG of their poor or false representation. Nothing would get done I know, but CCing them will get their attention :-) I have the paperwork showing these tasks were performed with in house charges. I wouldn't expect even a free oil change personally. IMO they cannot be trusted at this time.
Thank you for your help. It's much appreciated during the growing pains of owning a corvette. :-)

Perhaps he liked the OE wheels before you made your comment.

That's OK JR-01. Everyone has their own likes.
I like OE vehicles myself. It was a long time locating the right unmolested vehicle in excellent shape with low original miles. The reason I purchased this vehicle. The only item I can find so far on the vehicle is the Exhaust Tips are not OE. Why they were changed I do not know why, except the original owner liked them. One of the first things I will do is replace the exhaust back to original spec's.
I was told the tips via pictures look like Corsa Tips on CF. The name Corsa is not on the Tips or Mufflers. I don't know who manufacturer the exhaust is.
