2003 Anniversary Edition Wheels and Valve Stems
A friend asked me this question, and I cannot answer.
He has a very nice low mileage 2003 Anniversary convertible.
It has the "gold tone" factory wheels.
The previous owner had the tires filled with Nitrogen, and replaced the stock valve stem caps with green caps to indicate that they were Nitrogen filled.
He asked if I knew the color/style of the original valve stem caps for these wheels.
Are they silver, gray, chrome? Are they metal or plastic?
I told him I'd try to find out for him.
TIA.
Chuck

Thank you. That's a great picture, even showing a logo.
They have a goldish tint to match the wheels. I would have thought that might be the case.
I'm going to print your photo and give it to my buddy.
Thanks again for your help.

Melting Slicks
You're welcome!
I tried to do my best and capture the logo in the process, but lights didn't want to cooperate much, and using the flash was even worse. They are actually silver, although they may seem to have a goldish tint in the picture.

I'm going to pass the info on to my buddy and let him start looking. I'm sure he'll be happy to get rid of the brilliant green caps on the car now.
