Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder. There seem to be exceptions to the rule, however, and this C5 Corvette seems to be the best evidence yet.
From the article sounds like the car was going to be a write-off anyway, so why not do something different with it? I think it's interesting. It reminds me of the Zimmers that were built on Lincolns and Mustangs and the likes in the late 90s, but this looks more refined with better body lines. Those 4th gen Eclipse tail lights look better here than they do on an actual Eclipse.

That ain't saying much; pretty darn ugly lights IMO. I know, my FIL drives one.
The front is....well..... needs some work, but it goes downhill from there.
The rear end treatment, IMHO the best part of the C5, is.......wow, really not good (trying hard not to be overly critical.)
