TRIC T-1 installed...........!!
The intake arrived today. I removed the stock pieces and installed Jim Hall's Tric T-1. Took about 45 minutes. Fit and finish were impecable. Hardest part was getting the ZO6 MAF into his bridge..............TIGHT!!!! Per his recommendation, removed the negative battery cable prior to install. Then, after install, brought the engine temp up to 176 degrees and then parked, with the enging running, for 5 minutes (Idle re-learn). Then went on several ( 10 passes, full throttle, each gear, 1st thru 4th to redline). Initally felt a bit sluggish, but by the 8th pass, 1st, 2nd and 3rd pulled HARD to redline, tire spin in each gear.............I am impressed. It's only going to get better...........the TRIC T-1 works !!!!............will dyno at Norris Motorsports soon and let you guys know the results.
I know outside air is good (had a BPP "cold" air on my 2000 Black Coupe), but this thing feels better.................
