LOL, nice. I have to laugh every time someone says the wife's Corvette. My neighbor introduced HIS new Corvette that way. Never see her near the car and he is polishing and driving it. Convinced she doesn't even know which end is the front. Great excuse to get a Corvette and tell the wife it is HER car. Oldest trick in the book. Good work.

You and I have similar history with our wive's birthdays.
this was her 50th Birthday C4 I got her.
And 4yr later I got her our current 03 which she still rows thru the manual gears on today. Black, manual C7 Vert in on the horizon for her!

Off topic, but
I was a CEO of a hospital near Sedalia for several years. I met some of the greatest people I have ever known while in Mo. They made us feel like part of the community from day 1. Just plain solid, salt of the earth people. We walked into a restaurant, a fellow walked up and noted we must be new in town, then introduced us to everyone in the place and they offered to help us adjust in any way they could. I was bowled over. And, we loved that state fair! Went through a few tornado alerts and it was like a big friendly gathering on the first floor of our building.
