Permanent Targa Top Bracket?
Is there such a thing as a permanent (i.e. bolt on) top bracket?
I never take the thing off due to questionable aerodynamics and the stock latches rattle a lot.
Does anybody make anything of that sort?

None that I have heard of. Did you know there are adjustments that can be made to those brackets to take up any slack in them once closed ?

There is no rattle on mine. When I put on the glass top I hear some noise but I assume it's the top and not the brackets.

SG Lou is right - you can adjust the tension on the targa top latches to get a tighter fit to the car. That may not only reduce rattles, but also reduce any wind noise that may be coming from the top. I do not know of any non-latching tops out there - that would kind of defeat the purpose of having a coupe.

Yeah I was aware of the adjustability but thought it'd benefit from the extra stiffness as well.
I've seen similar devices for other cars but guess I'll just adjust it to the tightest possible setting!
It does leak as well despite new weather strips so hope it helps that too.
