HVAC Experts? I need a bolt :(

HVAC Experts? I need a bolt :(
I noticed the bolt for the retaining ring that holds the AC accumulator in place is missing. Any idea what I need to buy to replace it? I don't have a pile of bolts to try and see what works.

That bolt appears to be a oddball. It's listed as 6.3mm x 1.81
GM part # 11509051
If it really IS a 6.3mm, anything else would just strip the threads. Maybe that's what happened already after someone lost the original bolt.
I would call Marc at Vettnuts and see if he can help you because GM wants stupid money for that piece.

If the Threads are already messed up you can tap new ones in a slightly larger size. That is what I would do.
If they are not too bad you could still "freshen" them up with a tap.
