My 03 Silverado has a Service Air Bag warning up on the DIC. I replaced the 2 front Impact Sensors but I needed to clear the SRS message and light. Did some research and found this...Launch Tech CReader Professional 123. From what I have read it will scan, diagnose and clear all ABS, SRS, Transmission and Engine Codes.
Purchased it from Amazon, along with a 5 ft long OBD port extension cord for $280.00
Once it arrives and get a chance to play with it I'll report back. I think this will come in handy for the C5 as well
Hope it works for ya. Curious as to why you didn't just get a Tech2
Tech 2 is just a wee bit more $$$$$ then I had to spend at the moment. Besides, There are a lot of counterfeit Tech 2s out there, especially those from China, and a real Tech 2 runs $1800 without any software, and with just one cable and the obd2 connector. A full blown Tech 2 kit runs over $2500
My sisters Trailblazer would start then die, my clone tech 2 said it was the PCM,replace that and the engine ran very rough, tech 2 said the crank sensor had to be reprogrammed which the tech 2 walked me though !!! I paid 300.00 for mine and that repair almost paid for it !!! (Dealer quoted 650 for that repair)

I did think about buying one of them clones but I have read more bad things then good about them so I passed. You might have been one of the lucky ones. With my luck I would be out $300 and holding a POS !

The China ones get a bad rap. Everyone who has bought the same one I did has been happy with zero issues.
I can't say for sure but I bet China made the originals. Prices have dropped since GM has gone to a laptop format now.

Where did you get your's Sam ?
If it's as good as you and Pounder say's it is then I just may pick up one in the future.
The one I purchased now was so I can reset the SRS message on my truck. It will also be helpful for the wife's Subaru. It will, more then likely work on the C5 until something arises that it can't do and Tech 2 will be needed.

I bought mine from AliExpress !!!!! it took a while to get here but I wasn't in a hurry, I wanted one for the brake bleed (cycling the ECMB) a this winter project along with new brake hoses !!!
Thank you Sir.
Once I scrape up some extra $$$$$ I'll order this one as I can use it on my Silverado as well. I'll keep the other one for the wife's Subaru and the kids Volvo
