I am in the market for new tires and i stepped down in rim diameter for the rear of my car so gain a little more sidewall. Problem i am having is all the tires i am finding are very close in diameter. Front tires i will be using will be 275/40/17 which are 25.6" diameter. The rears i am looking at are 315/35/17 which are 25.7" diameter. I am going to a drag radial tire in the back with a bit more sidewall.
Question i have is if i put the car into "Comp mode" will the tire sizing this close mess with the active handling and traction control? Only other option i have is to step up to a tire around 28" in diameter.
I plan on going with a wider tire in the front or possibly and this is a street car but i do not want active handling issues. rim sizes are 17x10 front and 17x11 rears.
Thats all i needed to know. Thats no issue as i pretty much do that now anyways. Just as long as i can put it into comp mode and not have an issue. Thank you very much for the reply.
Looking to step up to a 315 squared setup in the future.
