Not a plane, but unique. Happened to be out shooting early, was in front of the now pedestrian only traffic old Route 66 bridge one morning, caught the bridge master coming through, asked, and was given permission to take my car across and back for photo's. Sitting right on the line over the Mississippi in this one.
Thats the old Chain of Rocks bridge. I lived about two miles from there when Escape from New York was filmed on it. I can't remember if the new one was already built or they just shut it down. Cool shot!!!

I was only 4 in 1960. Wish I would have been old enough to truly appreciate that moment. Did get to enjoy many memorable moments later on via Clemente and Stargell though... I actually played on a team with 2 of Chuck Tanner's sons, and a nephew.
