C5 HUD problems
I bought my 03 C5 used, and the HUD worked fine for a while but then I noticed that the brightness had a mind of its own. Then partial information was displayed, then the buttons on the switch had no effect on the HUD, except the height adjustment, which works fine. Occasionally every light in the HUD lights up momentarily at startup, sometimes they all stay on bright for days then magically go dark. The switch has no effect on page or brightness. I have all the components out of the car in order to upgrade dash lights to LED and would like to fix the HUD while it is accessible. I figure it has to be the switch, the instrument cluster or a harness since the projector obviously has power. Any experience with this HUD problem? Thanks. Ronnie

Hard to say exactly where the problem is, but if you need to replace multiple components, I think Cultrag Performance sells all the pieces in a package at a reasonable price.
