Default Driving myself crazy!!!!

Hi.
I have a Torchred Z06 that I've started ordering stuff to change the look a little what a bad expensive decision that was! So far I have the wide body rear fender, carbon fiber front splitter and side skirts ZR1 style from carbon fiber customs, also all the lights are blacked out on the exterior along with tinted windows, but now I've been trying to pick out Rims for the last four month's and have gotten no where

I've bounced between the forgeline cf3, the forgestar f14 superdeep concave, and ccw hybrid but cant completely convince myself on anything and worst of all the what finish?? this driving me crazy

What looks BAD AZZ on torchred ????

Sure do like my Forgestars. but when I do wide rear fenders I plan on doing ccw classics with a flat black center and gloss black lip. Here is a pic of my forgestars for reference.

This is the wheel I want to do next.

I know I've been looking at those also what do you think about the hybrids? I'm mainly torn between polished and satin black center with gloss black lip I see everybody does classics but I atleast wanna go 19/18

Been there done that lol. I never had trouble picking new wheels for my previous cars but Ive spent a year shopping around for the Z06. My only advice is don't delay that decision much longer. Long story short, wife totaled her car, took my daily out of town, I had a nasty blowout, bent a wheel, needed something ASAP to get back on the road and ended up buying 2 new rear speedlines cause I didn't have time to wait for custom wheels.

All this after the wife OK'd a 5K wheel/tire budget for Christmas. I was not a happy camper. I was looking at CCW or Weld. Now, the speedlines have grown on me, Im considering buying 2 more rears, widen them to 12", mini tub for a 335 or 345 tire and running 18"s all around. So Im keeping the factory look for now and leaving more money on the table for performance mods, which is more my style anyway.

Those CCW's above, polished lip, machine face = sexy as hell. Id rock those in a heartbeat

Sorry for your luck brotha this has been a damn headache! Luckily my girl is cool I like those I posted but I'm really torn between black or polished on my torchred Z06..

Finish has been the biggest challenge and trying to tie it in with my carbon fiber skirts and front lip, with my blacked out lights... I feel like pulling the black outs off and going with polished I am way too ****!!!

If my Z was torch red, Id probably go with black wheels. IMO black wheels look better on a red car than any other color, they just seem to "pop" more. Good luck making the decision, I know it's difficult!

I thinks it's between these two with red hardware

I think the sp16's look more racey which fits more with the carbon fiber I will have on my car so more than likely those will be it

I want to do wide rear fenders also and would love to get some classics but I want odd sizes, I want to run a 19 up front and 18 in rear and they don't make classics in 19's so it rules them out... some of the hybrids look good but besides the price increase they don't make them in 18's... if I ever get around to doing it I will probably just end up getting some 505a's in an 18 for the rear and sell the 19's I have on there now unless they release some new wheels/sizes between now and then

If you're ****, I'd stay away from that many spokes. You have to remove the wheels to get at the barrels.

I don't even feel Like intalling my body parts till I buy the rims cause it will not look rite! I'll probably have over $10k into it which is not making much sense to me for a c5 z06 but I've already started the process to I can't look back now...

don't worry about that just do what you want (as long as you aren't putting yourself into debt lol) and enjoy it... I have put a lot into mine as well but mainly performance mods, I have a hard time spending money on appearance stuff

I agree it's been all cash but it makes you second guess when those ugly c5 gremlins pop up here and there and you have to fix those also haha

Love my C7Z replicas. Unless you mind the extra weight.

I'd personally avoid 3 piece wheels at all cost...too much unsprung weight, unless you're a drag racer type then who cares about anything to do with handling.

Look at concave face single piece forged, or even 2 piece modulars like Rennen makes. There's options out there....I personally feel the C5Z is a tough car to put a wheel on...you really have to stance it right, and choose the right design. I tend to like thick/heavy spoke look...appears muscular.
