Okay now I know the story of HUD dimmer *****....not what I was wanting to hear. In the process of purchasing my first C5 and the HUD **** is missing. Thought it was going to be an easy, cheap replacement....nope...should have reduced my offer by $100 in order to buy a complete dimmer control panel.....AARRRGGGHHHH!!!!

Mine was missing it too when I picked it up a year and a half ago.
There is a forum member that sells the ***** that were made off of a 3D printer. The size and shape are perfect...but the material isn't an exact match to OEM. Personally it's more than good enough for me considering the price and hassle to get one without having to buy the whole dimmer switch assembly. It's black and pretty much blends in anyways...

Oh...and the price was VERY reasonable...
