Does the car sit for long periods? These cars work best with fully charged batteries and if it sits for more than a couple weeks at a time a battery tender is recommended. Low voltage causes a lot of problems with C5s.

The "U" prefix on those codes means they are what is known as "communication" codes. It basically means one or another system (Remote Function Actuator in this case) did not communicate or "talk to" another system (pcm, bcm, etc) during a "handshake" routine at power-up, even if only for a very brief moment. The "H" suffix of course means it's a "History" code and not current. Those are not uncommon, and are usually sporadic codes appearing from time to time and have no bearing on any malfunction UNLESS there is a problem with that particular system in which case you would be seeing a "C" or possibly "HC" suffix letters.
IOW, unless you have a specific problem, you can IGNORE these codes. THAT btw, comes straight from the GM Factory Service Manual, not some interweb rumor.
Thanks Lone Star :-) I purchased a C-Tek charger yesterday and I will use it faithfully.
The vehicle has never sat for more than a few days since purchasing it in early December 2015. I will get the battery checked. You never know here in Florida. Batteries don't last very long.

Keeping a battery maintainer on your car during periods of extended non-use is a very good idea. I also agree with JR-01s input regarding voltage sensitivity issues and steps to eliminate or reduce them. Even though I don't use an Optima battery (chose the Sears Die-Hard Platinum AGM), I DO like, and use, an Optima Digital 400 battery maintainer. It's the smaller, more compact, baby brother to the large Optima charger. It's very well made and suits my needs perfectly.
