Tire question?

I just bought my C5 last may, it had 22,800 on it, now it has 27,500 When i look at the tires they look like they have a lot of tread on them. But this is a 13 year old car, i have no idea when the last owner of this car changed the tires. How do you know when tires have to be changed on a Vette, never owned a super fast car. Thanks Pup

Start with the manufacturer date codes on the tires.

This for example would mean the tire was made the 3rd week of 2004

Then use the search feature for discussions on run-flats, non- runflats and tire brands - - - there lots and lots of reading available.
