The Xtreme axleback will bolt on just fine to your stock h-pipe. There will be a "burble" upon deceleration without the x-pipe, and it may idle a bit louder. Nothing to be concerned about though.

If it does burble and you like that sound, then yes it's a good thing. Corsa makes a very good exhaust system so bolt it on and enjoy.

I can confirm they burble and have a great sound at idle and on throttle. Didn't like the burble at first but enjoying it now.

Very little sound, if any, will be lost. There's not a big enough difference in the C5Z's LS6 to make it sound noticeably better than a stock LS1. (When both have Corsa Xtreme, that is.)

I bought my c5z with the Extremes (factory H pipe) already installed so have no reference for stock sound. The deceleration burble or pop can be louder depending on how aggressive I am with the throttle...not a bad thing but was unexpected when I first got the car. My neighbor has a c6 and bought Extremes after hearing mine. Would not change them out for any others...they have a different sound that leans less towards American muscle car.

, they will stay on as long as I own the car... corsa in general has it's own unique tone... at wot they scream instead of having a deep muffled tone which I happen to like, it's almost as if the car sounds faster if that makes any sense... I did not like the motorboat sound at idle but that is the stock h-pipe and has nothing to do with corsa... when you get headers most of them come with an x-pipe incorporated into the system so it will get rid of the motorboat idle and give the car a completely different tone
