I really don't see how they could be a thousand dollars better than Bridgestone Potenzas, which are super smooth and quiet, grip great and wear well. They would not be worth it to me.
the only comparison I can make is my truck and they are worth gold to any other tire, could tell the difference before I left the parking lot !!!!
the vette had run flat Goodyears so no comparison. after three trucks it's a no brainer,I am sold on Michelin !!!!
I had a bad experience with Michelins that came on a new Subaru Outback I bought. Never even considered them again.

Right. Just saying I would not pay twice as much for Michelins. Not worth it to me.
These are what I've been running for years and I'll use them until no longer available. There aren't a whole lot of vendors in the US, but I've found a few. I generally order on Ebay since the prices are comparable to other vendors. I currently have them on my 03 Z06 and my Trailblazer SS.
Bridgestone Potenza RE 760. Great ride, A rated in wet traction, and dry. They are even a great value. I have driven mine for 9000 miles so far, and like them a lot.
I put these on my 02 Coupe; have several thousand miles on them, and am very happy with them!
Do you have flares on the back? and do they stick out at all? I want to run your exact set up but do not want to flare the back!
No flares. Doesn't stick out. If you're near Phx I'm happy to show you. It works because the offset on the c6 is further in. But because they are fat and the z06 is wide body it works out perfectly. They are tight on the inside but I have never had any rubbing at all. I like the way it looks but if it were 1/2 inch further out it would be too much.
I live in FL and I'm running the Hankook V12s that were installed on my CCW wheel package. They ride a lot better than the Yokos I replaced and the OEM Goodyear run flats that I moved off years ago.
My only issue with the Hankooks is that it seems as though they are wearing faster than the other brands I've run. When the time comes, I will look at the Michelins however I would have no issue installing new Hankooks based on the performance and nice ride of my current set. If I feel the Michelins are worth the extra $$$ I will buy them.
While on the topic, can anyone recommend a good SW FL tire shop that can swap the tires without damaging the wheels? I plan to just bring in my wheels and not the car. I will time the tire swap around my annual wheel wet sand and polish so the wheels will be off the car anyway.

Im on the east coast but If I am in Phx for business I will certainly hit you up! What size are the rims and offset? My car is pretty much slammed so I know I will have to raise it a bit to get the bigger tires to clear I just want to keep it to a min.
My vote is for the the Michelin SS. I put a set of stock size on my 04 Vette last June 15. Front set $290.00 rear set $520.00. Out the door price $1000.00 included mount, balance, TPMS and road hazard. They replaced the original Goodyear Run Flats. The ride difference was night and day.

Michelin Pilot SS in warm weather...hands down. In NH we have a lot of twist secondary roads. They balance out extremely well. I had my magnesium wheels re-trued, and now zero vibration well past any speed limit!

I got the 760s from Tire Rack and shipped to authorized installer (Pep Boys) and saved about $150 from what the local Firestone place wanted.
I have Hankook V12s on my car and I like them a lot. I'm surprised they were relatively inexpensive.
I was at the shop I bought my tires at last week and told the guy how much I liked the tires. He said Hankook changed them recently and he said he'd no longer recommend them. So if you are inclined to buy the V12s, you might want to ask if they are the old or new versions.
