I get that all the time, but what gets me are the guys who rev their engines and show off their obnoxiously loud exhaust when they see you (even if they are going the other direction). I think it's funny and I just give them a thumbs up...living in the 405 area code has it's special set of challenges, especially when I go to OKC...everyone thinks they are a street outlaw.
.... Glad to know that other Corvette owners experience this same annoying weird-*** driving actions by others. It's like driving your car while it's in heat, it attracts all the stray idiots on the road. This situation also gets compounded when they see by my license plate....... 2FAS4UU !! Thought it was a cool choice 12 years ago, didn't realize back then that it would make some drivers do some stupid shXX around me every time I drove it, Oh well !!

Don't you dare change it (cause it's way COOL) and you are too fast for 90% of them !!!! (they are dying to find out what's under the hood)
My 87 year old mother has a 2015 Buick Regal Turbo (I helped her pick it out) and it is no slouch either.
I had one of these messing around with me a few months back. It still has the dealer plates on. Definitely faster than I thought it would be at first glance, but my Z made quick work of it. After the initial pull, the driver decided to draft me and attempt to pass for the next 5 minutes down the highway. After denying him multiple times, he finally gave up. Made for an entertaining evening.
LOL, best to sit high in your seat and have your part gorilla best friend ride shotgun with the roof down. I was seriously thinking of changing my current vanity plate for "BUZZOFF" maybe they will get the hint!

... LMAO, I had one of those trying to goad me me into a race yesterday, but shined him on !!....
I thought it would happen to me a lot more than it actually does. If anything, people tend to stay further back.
Same here, outside of the occasional Camaro or whatever giving a challenge (I don't street race) most people give a wide berth and a thumbs up. I must be doing something wrong...not like I mind.
The attention can be fun sometimes too though. It's a yin yang thing. I had my 8year old son with me last summer. We decided to take a road trip in the vette. We went up the back way from Phoenix to Salt Lake City and during the trip crossed the Glenn canyon dam up north of Page Arizona. You have to creep over as there are a lot of pedestrian tourists checking out the dam. Well a bus load of Japanese tourists were on the road checking out the area, we were creeping by about 5 mph. And when they saw the vette a bunch of them started taking pictures of the corvette as we passed. My son thought it was really cool that they liked the car. Was a fun thing for him.

I can't get away from idiots no matter what I drive (or ride).
Was waiting to pull out of the Arby's/K-Mart parking lot this evening and got piped by some old hot rod "looking" car with some pimpley-faced kid driving.....
.....the funny part is, the Z was at home and I was on my crotch-rocket in full street riding attire. Hahaha.
This was the first time I ever got "piped" on the street bike! Took it as a "enthusiast's" way of saying "Hello."
