2002 Z06 stalled five times while backing out of garage this AM. Then it was fine and functioned as expected rest of day, both in forward as well as reverse gear(s). Security issue? Any input? It was not the driver.
Pull codes on the dash. Could be many things, but a few things that come to mind is fuel pump, Chafed wire (read about this on injector harness and coil pack harness), faulty Crank position sensor, faulty MAF (unplug and see if problem continues)... could be one of many things. start here..

Thanks for the input. Problem happened the one time referenced. Not since. I will investigate per your suggestions.

Problem surfaced again today - only under load forward or reverse. Idles and revs fine when in neutral. Scanner shows no problem codes. Seems as though MAF or chafed wires are not culprit since idle and RPMs, in neutral, respond as throttle pedal demands. Only stalls under load of gear implementation. Do you think it may be a security issue?
