I have a C5 with broken floor mat clips on the drivers side. I have purchased the replacement parts but have not dug into it yet as my garage is not heated.
Just curious whats involved and if there are any special tricks to getting the old ones out and the new ones in.

Before you snap them down, look first to make sure you have them facing correctly. Mine pop open from time to time, if I enter/exit wrong. The first time I put them back in place, I got them backwards. And they are a real pain to force them open again.
Might sound stupid crazy, just make sure you have them facing correctly before you pinch them together.
