I decided to go with the Zaino AIO to maintain my daily driver. I just need to know if when I do it the first time, should I start with a one time application of Z-PC or Z-5 Pro first? If so, which should I use?
(I know that wasn't stated elegantly, but you get the idea)

Zaino AIO is probably the only Zaino product I have never used, but that said... ZPC is not something you "apply". It is an abrasive compound - like a mild Rubbing Compound you would use to remove oxidation or very minor swirl marks before any other Zaino products if necessary. ZPC once removed leaves behind no protection - it is mainly used to remove very minor scratches.
It would not do much good to apply Z5 (a pure sealant) prior to AIO, because AIO also contains "abrasives" - though not as aggressive as ZPC.
BTW - there is no "law" that you cannot wash the car when using Chadwicks - it is just not usually necessary to wash the car unless you let it go.
I just recently acquired the car and it does have some minor swirl marks. So based on your information it seems like the plan of attack should be a round of Z-PC immediately followed by a round of AIO. Then for subsequent treatments, just use the AIO.
Go to the zanio web site. They will give you a very good detailed explanation about their products. AIO is very good for a DD. I would say yes, you can use Z-pc to remove minor swirl and scratches. I then would Z5 before the AIO. Think of it as using heavy, medium, fine sand paper. The Z-PC will dull the clear a little, the Z5 will bring the shine back, AIO will finish and protect.

I'd use z5 last rather than in-between zpc and zaio.
From zainos website:
"And like all Zaino Show Car Polish protectants, you can layer Z-5 PRO for even greater results. Because Z-5 PRO contains no abrasives,"
The AIO last will hold up better to the weather. I would do my corvette you way not my DD.
If that is the case then skip the z5 all together, the cleaners and mild abrasives in zaio will remove the z5.
On edit: my comment is more geared towards saving time and product, and not meant as an attack on your own method. So if it comes off as such I'm sorry.

No problem. I see the Z5 as a better filler for any thing left behind by the fusion, and the AIO as being better against the elements. I use this method on my black DD traverse.
AIO is a great product, if used with a buffer, and buffed till gone. Then a coat of Z-5 for dark colored Cars or Z-2 for light colored cars. AIO is ZPC and z-2 mix so you do get the benifit of a polish as a base before Z5 or z2.
I use a white buffing pad to apply and like I said buff till gone don't buff till haze and remove my hand. I use the AIO once a year on my daily driver that sits out side all year. I maintain it with a coat of Z2 when needed and before winter 2 coats of Z2. Below is the steps to use, AIO, Z6, coat of either Z5 of Z2 and between coats wipe down with Z6.

i like what ''bill vette'' says and use it on wifes daily driver but also use ''clear seal'' and then last coat of z6 . i had doubts about ''clear seal'' but found i like it . . . peace
Frank, I've known Sal Zaino for 18 Years. I knew Sal when he was making his stuff in his Garage in North Jersey. I use to talk to him on the phone from the GM design Studio, in the late, 90's. I knew Sal Zaino when he did not have a Credit card account. The only way you coud get his stuff, was send him a Money order or a check and wait for it to clear the bank. Then he would send it to you. The reson I got into Zaino was his one statement.
" You can take a Black Car, drive out into the desert in bright sunlight the ambient temps @ 120F* and not have an issue with application or, results.
A bold statement, telling me that this is not your every day car polish. So I tried it, and have been hooked on it since.. It has outperformed everything I used previously..
Also Sal and a Former DuPont Chemist developed this stuff. Sal said he never wanted his products for an Every day driver or a beater. His stuff was designed to maintain an already great finish. Not to bring back to life an abused finish. That was 18 years ago. My car finish depth and clarity has only increased over the years. The two things that I like are there is no Carnauba wax in it, and its 99.9% optically clear. Carnauba based products are yellow in optically clarity. Carnauba wax breaks down around 120F which is easily attained on a High UV day with ambient in the 95 + range. I've measured hood temps on dark cars to reach 120/ 130 F, I think the finish on my car speaks for itself. I haven't talked to Sal in about 10 years. I have no affiliation with him. Sal was formerly a show car and funny car painter. A family member was a DuPont chemist.. just some FYI.
Also with the use Mass Spectrometers, there are no secret formulas. And I know for a fact that Maguire's Development chemists were very aware of Zaino formulas. So my point is that Sal may have been the innovator, but now there are many other products out there with the same polymer chemical formula. Ill just stick with Zaino.

Bill I'm with you all the way. I have been sold on zaino since i first found it on this site many years ago. I have never used anything better in my time of doing cars. Not to say that there is not products that work for others, just that i have never used any. Good to hear from you!!
Well Frank , thank you,,, the good news is that I am still here, despite what the doctors told me and my wife two years ago...when they told us, on Oct 13 2013, my expiration date would be around 2015. What did I do? I went out an got other doctors, and am now in clinical trials, and at the moment, I'm in remission. It takes a toll on me, taking these poisons, but I'm still seeing my wife , kids and grand kids. IM even driving my car. on occasion.

Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
