On a side note: I kinda wish my wife was enthusiastic about just cars in general.....I purchased my C5 in Dec. 2010 and my wife has been in the car TWICE . She could care less. Can't tell you how many times I have been told , after making a comment while on the road and seeing a Vette, about how she doesn't care what kind of car it is, it's a waste of money, she's not interested , etc, etc.
Need a wife like me who can drive a 6 speed, motorcycle and quads!!! Wanted a vette so i bought one!!! Love it and love going fast!!! Did 110 2 nights ago on hwy weaving thru the "keepers of the speed"! Felt like I was doing 70!!! Wanted to go faster, but my daughter (22) was in the car too!! Having to teach her now how to drive a stick! Ahhhh!!! My poor vette!! I feel there's not enough kids out there today, let alone women, who even know how to drive a stick!!! Good thing to know in case of emergency with the driver!
My ole' lady is cool. She ordered this last spring and demanded a 6 speed manual. Salesman was shocked, especially the day we picked it up and she left the lot like a bat of hell.

Keepers.
I taught my wife to drive a stick in my GTI many years ago. She hated it. She'd only drive it on the highway where she could leave it in 5th for a few hours.
I kept her anyway.
