Vararam C5 intake

Bought this ad I'm having a time trying to figure out why it doesn't fit. I called Vararam and the parts guy said it was something I did then transferred me to Tech and the guy told me I might try another intake hose to see if that works. They're sending me two additional hoses and only charging me for one. Has ANYONE tired installing these. Right now it looks as though the easiest way would be to modify the radiator shroud.. Help VETTE FAMILY !!!!!

I remember that day 5 or 6 years ago before I supercharged my C5. However after the aggravation it was well worth it.

I too had trouble with it lining up to the throttle body and I modified my shroud (it was cracked anyway) I have now bought a new shroud but not have tried to install it yet,also my headers rub the steering shaft and what I found is the hydraulic motor mounts will settle so the engine sits lower.(I am replacing my mounts) Did you screw the bottom ducts to your fog lamp ducts if so that is another problem you don't use screws on that and you let the whole system float !!!! watch this also

I did not have to modify my shroud. You just need to take your time and study your directions. It's a very very tight fit.

I've already gone through this with parts and tech . Tech tells me I need a longer hose which they're sending Friday..

. for being so dense...I had planned on pics but I've been working and in between I'm in the Vette so this is the first "MOD" I've done.. More to come and I'll try to get some photos....
