I don't hate it.

Looks like it has an export fender marker light and a different style front plate. Any idea which country it is from? Maybe Japan or Europe?

It's from Sweden

My think it looks alright, but the bolt on style just doesn't fit the c5 to me.

Don't like it as is. But boy, the lines are sure there though. If that was smoothly molded in with clean transitions, that could really bring a new dynamic to the look of the car.

I like what he did with the front fenders more than the back. Overall, it's nice to see something different. I'm mixed on the bolt-on style and this is one of the first I've seen completed on a C5 so it's hard to say rather it works or it doesn't.

***** won't like it though because he's running Varrstoens on it

Looks like a nice track car platform, but I would not drive that on the street.

heyyyyy thanks man, I been busting my *** on my project and needed some inspiration

I dont think this guys looks that bad at all, not my style exactly but looks pretty good.

The lines are a little wonky but looks aggressive, he just needs to lower it a couple inches

Ive made some good progress on mine as well, my rears are FINALLY ready for the mould , hell of a lot more work then it seems, especially when your doing it in your living room lol

Mine are going to be a little more symmetrical and are going to give about 3.5 inches of extra wheel well width to play with on each side.

Im just layering the final glaze coat on for the little pinholes, then its prime + clear coat and its ready for the mould.

Ive been hunting for months looking for any photos or any reference to flared C5's and ive found nothing, good digging guys

Never been a fan of the bolt on fender flares, but molded in ones would be a different story.

He could just buy a c3 for the Coke bottle shape! I think like others if they flowed smoothly and all the way around opening I could dig it! I love the deep dish look

Glad to see some more positive responses this time around, I know its not for everyone, but at least its different.

Even some Ferrari and Lamborghini guys are going the "bolt on" widebody route, its becoming more and more common on high end cars.

As for me I just primed mine , of course I noticed a few more issues once I got it wet, so ill be up for a while doing some fine tuning before making a mould tomorrow.

Another angle. I actually think it might look better on 1willy's car being an FRC which looks more aggressive to begin with.

It's a loooong way from the neat job Chevy did with the C4 ZR1 when they widened the whole rear end to get the right look.

Bolt on fender flares work for trucks and jeeps. IF he had bolted them on and then smoothly flared them in, maybe, but as it is, it looks like a cartoon car to me. And why are the rears cut off like that? Yuk.
