Default New flasher installed. Now have hyper flash

Ok here's the deal I had the typical intermittent turn signals so I bought a new flasher. I have no leds in my signals front or rear I still run the filament bulbs never had a problem with hyper flash. I installed my new replacement 4 way flasher turned car on hit the signal I now have hyper flash. How is this so with no leds installed. With old flasher its was fine just a slow blink. Now hyper. The only other thing I did today was unplug the shifter solenoid under the shifter because of getting stuck in park from time to time.

All bulbs are working on all 4 corners. Signals are working on all 4 corners just blinking fast now.

Fixed it. Put the old flasher back in all is good again. Weird as hell. Same identical flasher.
