Sorry to post a non-Corvette question here but my note on the Off Topic/Other Cars section has gone unanswered.
My 2003 GMC Yukon Denali has a small oil leak and when I crawled under it it looks like it is coming from the oil pan drain plug/bolt. I see no washer or gasket, but there is what looks like a sealer around the bolt that has a chunk broken off. Is this normal (the sealer, not the leak) or did my oil change place take a cheaper way out?
