When I first started looking at vettes I thought the BSM was a different model year, that is how different the car looks to me without them. Before I get attacked, I had no Idea what c5 meant either I never looked at vettes.

Many Kits came out, the most significant was from a Company in New York, called Baldwin Motion. they offered these kits and many bought into it, destroying a real Corvette Icon. Not always is the latest, the greatest.

I went to college on LI, and Baldwin Motion was legendary even back then. As for the "Kit", not that I'm so smart or visionary but I thought it was a darn stupid idea even then. Btw, love the ******!

I took my car out of the garage today in the sunlight, and you can see faintly where the bsm's were on the doors. It is a tad darker where they were located. It would surprise me if anyone who did not know they were there even noticed. Not enough to bother me as I just can't stand them on my car...
