I personally like your car without them also. They have been removed form my 2001 as well. Gives the cars a smooth look imho.

Do you have any 'ghost images' of the moldings now that they are off?

You know I have not even pulled the car out since I took them off. Looks like they were never on there before in my garage. I will let you know when I get it out in the sunlight.

The first "mod" I did when I purchased my C5 was remove the BSM's.
I've always preferred the clean look.

When I first started looking at vettes I thought the BSM was a different model year, that is how different the car looks to me without them. Before I get attacked, I had no Idea what c5 meant either I never looked at vettes. I did know before I bought though, thanks to this forum and the internet. Without...is my vote

Here is an FYI for you. Back in 63, I remember it well, no one knew the impact of that split window. IN 1964 the split window was gone. At that time everyone thought that getting rid of the "******" look was an improvement. You would have to be old enough to remember this and the inspiration

1940's ****** (things you wont find in book, you can find here on this forum

Many Kits came out, the most significant was from a Company in New York, called Baldwin Motion. they offered these kits and many bought into it, destroying a real Corvette Icon. Not always is the latest, the greatest.

I went to college on LI, and Baldwin Motion was legendary even back then. As for the "Kit", not that I'm so smart or visionary but I thought it was a darn stupid idea even then. Btw, love the ******!

Would not be Electron Blue but LeMans Blue.

I took my car out of the garage today in the sunlight, and you can see faintly where the bsm's were on the doors. It is a tad darker where they were located. It would surprise me if anyone who did not know they were there even noticed. Not enough to bother me as I just can't stand them on my car...

His avatar looks like a Commemorative which would be an 04 LeMans blue.

My car is a LeMans blue coupe. I thought I changed that a while back. It looks like I didn't save the changes when I did it.

Nevermind...I see you changed the year now too.
I had an '02 Electron blue coupe years ago. Now I own the '04 LeMans coupe. I just updated my profile info. Everything should be current now. Sorry for the confusion guys.
