Default B&B PRT review

I have not seen anyone talk much about the B&B PRT exhaust system so i decided i will give my two cents for people who are in the market. I switched out my bullets for the PRT since i needed a more quite exhaust do to complaints from my hoa.

The PRT are by far my favorite exhaust system for the C5 they give a true old school muscle car sound to the car. During idle its quite tame with a faint rumble but at wide open throttle its sounds like a monster do to the straight pipe/muffler design. The only downfall to the exhaust is with the stock H pipe it pops a ton on deceleration to me i love it but i can imagine people hating it. The only other thing is that it has quite a loud drone at 2500 rpm which is roughly 70mph in my 6sp. I will post some good videos once i get my new Go pro in the mail next week.

Honestly, I would hate the popping and the drone, but the muscle car sound would be a plus. As long as you are happy with the system, that's all that matters. Looking forward to seeing the video and hearing the exhaust.

Probably my favorite system for the C5. I have yet to acquire a set but I'm always on the lookout. Post the vids when you can. I still have my stock H-pipe as well and get that popping sound you speak of. I don't mind it either.

What a shame we live in a country where we have to make expensive changes to our cars, because of a few people who don't appreciate American muscle.
I still live in the country, or at least outside of the city limits, and thank God, don't have a hoa. I have LG long tubes, X-pipe and GHL bullets, H/C/I and I love the sound of my car. It is quite a bit louder than stock, but I can come and go in my neighborhood, respectfully, and no one has ever complained. My neighbors are also retirees and they love my car. At Thanksgiving, they asked me to bring the car over to show to their family, and took pictures.
I am respectful of the fact that if they heard it at WOT or if I revved it repeatedly they would probably feel different about the situation. Same goes with my new stereo/amp/sub system. I start my car, pull it out of the garage and let it warm a little and ease down the road.
It all comes down to respect. It's a shame when it don't work both ways.

I've had the PRT's on mine for about 7 years. I'm running heads, cam, x pipe, headers, etc also. I'm very happy with the sound and at WOT they scream.

Yeah it sucks apparently its written in the HOA contract i signed when i bought my house. Its really all the dam new yorkers that have moved into my area. I live in south flirda where ita basically a giant retirement home for the state of new york and they complain about every god dam thing. If i mow my grass on the wrong day i have a violation on my door or it i have to many people pared in my drive way i get a complaint. My car is my DD so i drive it every day and i get home from work at about 11pm-1am nightly since i work the mid night shift at a hospital. I really hate this where this country has gone to where people get offended at every little thing you do any more

I will and i will make sure to document the popping since no youtube video shows it at all. I picked mine up on a fluke for $400 when i ask a guy about his exhaust at a gas station and he mentioned he was taking them off that day so i went to his house and helped him take them off and got them right then and there.

The taxes here are so high everybody is baling out and they're all heading for Fl. It could only get worse as the baby boomers age. Ignore the geezers and enjoy your ride.

I meant that sucks but they are running all of us native Floridians out. They have single handledly ruined our housing market increased the prices of everything while clogging our roads. Along with that every new yorker i meet tells me how much better NY is while Fl sucks and how they need to change our state. Honestly the 50-80 year old city new yorkers are quite possibly the worst human beings on the planet.

I hear you, they are probably saying the pizza and bagels suck. New Yorkers are a rude bunch, believe me, I'm one of them. Lol. No worries, I'm staying up here till I die. Corvettes run better in cool weather.

I know this thread is about 10 months old now, but I'm interested in hearing these on your car...did you ever post video/audio of them?
