Default Relighting the DRL's

Hi all!

I'm going to be installing some LED DRL switchbacks in the car, and the current ones they have been disabled as I'm in the UK..
I believe in the US they are on ( although seen its a desirable thing to disable in the US)

So I have been told I probably need to replace the 2 Fuse in the fuse box..
so assuming its not there! I will need to get one..

1. Does anyone know what size it is?
2. Can I just bang one in with no other considerations or do anything else?

thanks in advance

Fuse #2 in the under hood fuse box is a 15 amp.

I would assume if the fuse is currently removed the DRL's should light up. I don't know if there is any special programming if your car is an "export" model.

thanks Mac
currently they don't light up.. so your correct think that is the issue.
my car was originally a Saudi car when new..
then into Europe and Mods made to make it compliant.. it has some features of a US model and Euro model!!
I'm hoping I just put one in.. or do I need to disconnect battery etc first?
only ask as when I was trawling threads for advice I did see some saying to take it out
you needed to do this.. so maybe the reverse is also necessary..

Just plug the fuse in, no need to disconnect the battery.

After installing the switchback DRL's you may run into DRL's not functioning properly, try reversing the polarity by flipping the bulb around in the socket. You may also run into the turn signals "hyperflashing" this condition is fixed by installing resisters, or a hyperflash relay harness. Search hyperflash, there are tons of threads discussing this condition.
