Currently have a '00 and '67 'verts.
My daily is a '14 Grand Cherokee SRT.
Jeep is coming out with a hellcat version of the Grand Cherokee next year ... so... I'm debating between selling the Cherokee and getting the hellcat... or, keeping the Cherokee, selling the '00 and picking up a c7 (selling the 00 will probably get me a portion of the downpayment for the c7).
I leaning towards the hellcat, because I hardly use the c5 these days -- young kids and a two-seater don't really mix, and any "me" time I get is typically spent in my '67. I use the GC all the time.
yeah, that's what a lot of people are saying. We'll see... if it's marked up, they can keep it. It's cool, but not $120k cool. at that price I'd rather have a c7 I hardly use, and a jeep that "only" does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.
Hellcat anything is sweet. It would be a tough decision if I had to make it. Of course, I'm a Chrysler fan from 'way back. My Corvette is the first really drive-able Chevy I've owned for more than a few months and I've never owned a Ford. I'd trade it tomorrow for a another nice Challenger R/T or Charger R/T Super Track Pack (I've owned both), not to mention a Hellcat. But that's just me...

I'm the same way-- I've only owned two types of cars -- chevys and jeeps. I did drive the SRT up at Limerock for a day (you get a day with the SRT club as part of the purchase price), and I will say the GC is mind-blowingly amazing on that tiny track. I felt confident enough to try things I'd never try in my c5 (not saying the GC is a better track vehicle than a c5, just that it inspired more confidence in a *very* inexperienced track driver).
decisions, decisions.... I gotta say though that 0-60 in an estimated 3.7 seconds, with a back seat, cargo area, and kid friendly ...

Sounds like you somewhat answered your question. A C7 is still a two seater with the kids.

For your stated needs, go with the Hellcat. It's still going to be a fun vehicle that will meet the family requirements. You'll still have the '67 for your Vette fix.
I agree with most on here, sell the c5 and the GC and get the hellcat, worst case is the c5 at least covers a good portion of the possible mark up! (if not all of it)
