Default Brake Motive

Been reading the reviews from other members but had some questions I didn't see answered.

1. Are the rotors stock size?

2. Did you use the pads they supplied or did you upgrade?

3. How many miles do you have on them?

Thanks in advance guys. I understand tires and brakes are the only two things that make you stop so I don't want to cheap out on but for the price and reviews, seems like these are a steal.

I've had them for about 10k-12k miles, still clean, and work just fine for my driving. I used the supplied pads.

I've been using them for 2 or 3k miles. They saw one track day and the supplied pads faded the 2nd or 3rd time I got on them. Not surprised though. I kept it easy the rest of the day, but for a daily no track time I don't see an issue.

2 1/2 years on our C5. Excellent! Put them on our '03 Explorer also.

I don't even remember how long ago I installed them. They are on several years now, used the supplied pads and I have had absolutely no problems with them, they still look as good as new. I have noticed occasionally when driving extra hard they could use a little extra bite, but otherwise under normal driving they work perfectly fine. I would still highly recommend them. I intend to use them on my other daily driver. BTW, I do quite a lot of miies on my Vette.

Installed the rotors/pads a couple of months ago based on all the reviews...no complaints at all, enjoy the look of the drilled/slotted and pads work effectively.

Brake Motive has two options for the C5. Anyone know the difference?

Two hundred miles or so on the rotors and pads. Very good product for the money.

Not really sure what that would be however they had told me at the time that I could get them undrilled if I wanted to wait longer to get them. I don't know of any other item they offer.

I messaged them on eBay and they actually have three options for the c5

1. Black rotors.

2. Pads and zinc rotors with pad hardware and

3. Without hardware.

Have had mine on for a couple years and used what was supplied. Very pleased with how they work and no noises or brake dust. Bought a set for my winter driver also.

PS....Many miles later...I think I have over 143,000 miles total.

They fit perfectly and used the pads supplied...a little over two years now...low dusting, still shine and bite real well. AND no cracks.
