C4 to new C5 Owner
Hey all,
I am an old C4 member who just picked up a C5 and am trying to get use to having 21st century technology.
2004 LeMans Blue Vert, M6, with 72k miles all stock for the moment.
Looking forward to driving this one alot with the 6 speed, but my 87 vert is jealous I think.

Congrats on your new to you vette, beautiful! I've owned a number of vettes in earlier years and decided on the c5 when it was time to get back into them. To my way of thinking they are just flat the most beautiful of all the corvette generations and a far superior driver compared to my earlier vettes. I've also found that a c5 6 speed vette vert is just a ball to drive on a beautiful day, I'm sure you will agree! Best wishes and good luck!

Congrats - you picked up a nice second Vette. Lots of differences between the C4 and C5 that you will enjoy. I had four C4s and liked them all, but the C5 is really a much different car. Best of luck with the C5.

wife has an automatic just like your 2004 with 29,xxx on it . can never remember the name of that color , thank you . enjoy . . peace . .ps. hers has the light colored top . i saw a picture this week of one with a black top which i liked better with top up .

Thanks all for the warm welcome, I am already loving the C5 and manual gear box. Been a long time since i had a manual and I forgot how much fun they are to drive.
A stick shift really changes (for me enhances) the driving experience.
Unlike my C4 I don't think I will be modding it much, but I am going to have to do something about the head unit as I love my mp3's and need to add some bass so I will probably do an aftermarket single din HU and add a sub while keeping the Bose system intact.
